えいごで縄文(7) 2007年7月31日
2007年 07月 29日三内丸山遺跡からは、思いがけないものが、
出土している。
普通は、絶対残らない有機質のものが、
泥炭層から、発見された。
縄文の織りも、その一つである。
A fragment of the oldest plain fabrics in Japan
A sort of the oldest plain fabrics was dug up at
peat deposits in a dale of the first term in Jomon
Age. It was about 5,500 years ago. A sewing needle
was also excavated. It looks that Jomon people
made clothes.
日本最古の平織り(?)の断面
縄文時代前期(約5500年前)の谷の泥炭層から、縄文時代
最古級という平織りの一種が出土した。縫い針も出ており、
縄文人は衣服を作っていたと見られる。
